EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE IN EDUCATION: BRIDGING GENERATIVE AI, MODEL CREATION AND PROMPT WRITING.
Abstract
The article explores the analogy between mental modelling and prompt writing, positing that emotions, which are integral to the formation of mental models, may also influence prompt writing for genAI. The potential interplay between models, prompts and emotions is analysed to advocate for the development of students' EQ as a means of enhancing their modelling skill and effectiveness of prompt writing, suggesting new directions for empirical research.
