SCHOOL OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM AND BUILDING CONTACT WITH NATURE

Abstract


The pandemic and the distancing from school have often enhanced contact with nature by communicating valid educational alternatives. The outdoor school in Giuseppina Pizzigoni's model is examined in a comparison with the experience of John Dewey, from this scientific perspective experimentation in doing manifests itself in knowledge. Outdoor education recalls a typology of education outside the classroom in a medical-pedagogical transversality finding explanation in modern Epigenetics.
