Abstract


This theoretical paper explores nature-based education as a catalyst for sustainable and transformative learning. By critically reviewing seminal and recent contributions in the fields of environmental education, sustainability, and transformative pedagogy, the paper proposes an integrated conceptual framework for embedding outdoor and environmental learning into both formal and informal contexts.
