PHYSICAL EDUCATION, EMOTIONS AND MOTIVATION IN PRIMARY SCHOOL
Abstract
Placing the student at the center of the learning-teaching process means implementing innovative teaching proposals, which observe and evaluate the learner considering multiple aspects and values (socialization, emotions, relationships, motivations, etc.).
In this regard, physical education seems to be a "discipline-tool" capable of responding to current educational needs thanks to the inherent ability to bring out the emotions of pupils (Marino, 2024).
This study aims to highlight how in the school environment physical education has such relevance from the point of view of emotions and motivation as to be able to make the student aware and an active part of the teaching-learning process.
