SPORTS PROFESSIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS: A COMPARISON BETWEEN THE STATE LEGAL SYSTEM AND THE SPORTS SYSTEM
Abstract
The Italian sports reform, introduced by Law No. 86/2019 and Legislative Decree No. 36/2021, reshaped sports work and kinesiology professions. This study analyses the overlap between university degrees and SNaQ qualifications, showing regulatory fragmentation, uncertainty in professional roles and limits to EU mobility. It also considers the legal, social and economic implications of this framework and highlights the need for stronger coordination among institutions, universities and CONI.
