Abstract
Self-awareness and self-care are seeds of successful learning and teaching, as well as of individual and collective well-being. The key concept of this paper is to read the Know Thyself through the paideia lens for a better understanding of the impact of this concept on academic learning in the field of medical education and higher education. Possible learning scenarios on student centred integrated course and a Socrate Cafè for inclusion Teachers will be described to shift theory into practice.
