STUDENT‑ATHLETES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF SALERNO: EVIDENCE TO INFORM AN INSTITUTIONAL DUAL‑CAREER FRAMEWORK
Abstract
This exploratory study maps the student‑athlete population at the University of Salerno, revealing widespread competitive sport engagement and structural challenges in balancing academic and athletic demands. Students express strong support for formal recognition and flexible measures. Findings provide a solid evidence base for developing a dual‑career framework aligned with national reforms and European guidelines.
