THE ALGORITHMIC HEARTBEAT IN PROMPT ENGINEERING: EDUCATING FOR NEW DIGITAL LITERACIES THROUGH THE PROMPT BATTLE
Abstract
This study explores Prompt Engineering as an emerging digital literacy within the "Fourth Revolution," positioning it not as a replacement for human agency but as a tool for augmenting human capabilities. The research focuses on how this technical skill can be pedagogically leveraged to investigate the affective and identity dimensions of students, thereby redefining the synergy between human intelligence and artificial systems.
The research pursues a dual objective: establishing the technical foundations for algorithmic communication while employing digital outputs as "mediating objects" for deep introspective reflection. By integrating these dimensions, the study suggests that prompting can transcend technical execution to serve as a catalyst for redefining human identity within hybrid, emotionally aware educational ecosystems.
