XR Sensitive Scenarios: Designing Aesthetic Landscapes to Foster Problematizing Skills about Artificial Intelligence

Emanuela Guarcello

Abstract

This paper introduces XR Sensitive Scenarios as a pedagogical framework for designing semi-immersive learning landscapes that foster problematizing skills through aesthetic experience. The framework is illustrated through the Gaia Sensitive Scenario, developed to promote primary pupils' critical understanding of Artificial Intelligence. Preliminary findings suggest that SXR environments support ethical reasoning and the revision of anthropomorphic misconceptions about AI.
