MEDIATING HERITAGE IN DISTRIBUTED EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENTS. A FRAMEWORK FOR LIFE SOFT SKILLS ASSESSMENT IN N.O.T.E. PROJECT
Abstract
The N.O.T.E. project (Nuovi Orizzonti Territoriali Ercolano), funded through the 2023 Territorial Cohesion Program (EU-NextGenerationEU, NRRP M5C3I3), represents a significant case of educational regeneration grounded in space, heritage, embodiment and pedagogical mediation. This contribution frames N.O.T.E. not only as a transformative territorial experience, but as a methodological laboratory for validating an assessment framework for life soft skills. Through semantic-operational rubrics based on major European key competence frameworks, empathy, inclusion, communication, cooperation and cultural awareness are translated into observable indicators across cognitive, affective, social-relational and psychomotor domains. Within this perspective, educational space and multisensory learning become measurable pedagogical variables, transforming the project into a replicable ecosystem of measurable inclusion.
