AI-MEDIATED LISTENING PRACTICES AND THE RECONFIGURATION OF HUMAN INTERACTION AS A PEDAGOGICAL ACT IN THE AGE OF CHATBOTS

Alberto Fornasari

Abstract

The article examines the growing use of AI by young people as a space of interlocution, listening, and support. Recent studies show that chatbots are perceived as accessible, controllable, and non-judgmental environments capable of addressing relational needs often unmet in educational contexts. The paper reflects on the transformation of educational interaction and listening practices in the digital age.
