THE CONTRIBUTION OF PHYSICAL LITERACY FOR THE PROMOTION OF PHYSICAL SELF-EFFICACY IN DEVELOPMENTAL AGE

Sara Ladiana, Sabrina Annoscia

Abstract

Physical Literacy (PL) is an integrated educational approach that develops motor skills, motivation, and awareness to foster an active lifestyle. Self-efficacy (SE), the confidence in one’s physical abilities, is essential to support motor engagement and skill improvement. Together, PL and SE create a virtuous cycle of learning and motivation, promoting positive experiences that encourage continuous participation and long-term motor development.
