Abstract

The article analyses the long-term impact of COVID-19 infection, known as long COVID syndrome, on a sample of 89 Italian patients.
Through the administration of the Patient-Reported Outcome Measures questionnaire, information was collected on symptoms, duration of the infection, use of healthcare services, physical activity, and impact on sleep. The results confirm the negative impact of long COVID on the full recovery of health status even after the virus has been cleared.
