ACCESSIBILITY IN MUSEUMS: HOW TO COMBINE ACCESSIBLE SPACES, TECHNOLOGY, AND “SHARED LANGUAGES” TO ENSURE THE INCLUSION OF ALL VISITORS
Abstract
This study delves into the “vital” issue of social justice within museum contexts, aiming to analyze and reflect on the dynamics of inclusion and equity within these cultural institutions. Museums hold significant cultural and social importance, but often run the risk of perpetuating inequality and discrimination. The research focuses on identifying strategies and best practices to ensure increased accessibility and participation of all stakeholders in museum life, regardless of socioeconomic, cultural, or ethnic backgrounds.
