CORPORALITY AND DIGITAL EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENTS
Abstract
The body conception, in its relationship and integrated consideration with the mind, has undergone many changes throughout human and cultures history. An increasing use of digital technology has been further accelerated due to the pandemic and consequently the e-learning, and pedagogists were involved in re-design the educational processes. Taking into account the neuroscience studies highlighting the role of the body in education according to a holistic vision of person, our pedagogical proposal focuses on the positive or negative aspects of corporality in e-learning. The article reports an explorative research project carried out to investigate the role of the body in e-learning during and after the lockdowns. Main findings have been analysed under a pedagogical perspective aimed at sustainable activities to spread the lifelong, lifewide and lifedeep learning and develop inclusive educational strategies in digital educational environments.
