MOTOR LEARNING AND EMOTIONAL ENGAGEMENT OF STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS THROUGH UNIVERSAL DESIGN FOR LEARNING

Abstract


The inclusive approach to training and education is fundamental to respond to the individual and diversified needs of students. Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is an approach that recognizes and values students' differences, promoting different teaching methods to meet everyone's needs, starting with the role played by emotions. The aim of this work is to analyses the role of motor and sports education  based on a bio-psycho-social paradigm as an essential tool to ensure an inclusive educational environment.
